I'm A New Member

I want to say hello and hope to make a lot of friends.
I have been a musician since I was 8 years old. I don't mind giving my age away. I'll be 61 this month. Don't let my age get in the way. When you get to know me you will think that I am 21. I was playing in a band when I was 9 years old. I played the clarinet. Dave Brubeck is a relative of mine who played the clarinet in a jazz band. Dave was popular in the 40's and 50's. He been on all the top T.V. shows. Just a little background.

Wayne, I think you were talking 'bout Roy Clark when you said something about him holding or pulling his guitar too close to his body. What did you mean by that? I now find myself watching how I hold my guitar. I seem to move it around depending on where on the neck I'm playing. Is it the same with acoustic and electric..? You've got me wondering if I hold the guitar properly or not.

Wayne, I added a song on my song list called Honky Tonk Night Time Man. It's off a tribute album to Canadian steel guitar players. It features four Canadian steel players on this song as well as some good guitar picking. One of the steel players is Al Brisco, who owns Steel Guitars Of Canada based in Ontario. It's a good song, great steel, and worth a listen

Wayne, I started a discussion on Les Paul, who recently died, on ALL COUNTRY. I would appreciate your input on how you remember Les Paul. Thanks, Grant.
