There Is No Such This As A Free Lunch

Hand outs tend to have chains attached to them, especially from the government. Work for what you have and you will cherish it, if someone just gives it to you, it will be neglected.

The Ever Busy Guitarist

It has seemed like the past few weeks in August have flown by like in a moment. I just realized that I haven't been on my site for almost three weeks, have been doing a lot of work on my father in law's church, trying to get the bathrooms finished and evangelist quarters done. Add in playing for services three times a week, the Du Quoin Fair, a road trip to New Jersey, and it keeps you incredibly busy. Not to mention the fact that we moved 530 miles south of our old place in four days worth of p… Continue

Staying At Econolodge North Little Rock

Nice new hotel only a few exits away from some very good restaurants, the only thing is that it's near a really lowsy neighborhood, quite ghettoish. Sometimes it amazes me that someone would be willing to live in some of the dumps I've seen here, building like that would be condemned and torn down a long time ago. It's like people don't care enough to live a decent life, my perspective is that you are alive, you may as well live it to you best ability. Not sitting there in your own filth and sit… Continue

Finally Back At The Homestead

Just arrived back in Kaukauna after a great three week vacation, and yes I did work a little when I was on vacation, but I did have fun working. Getting settled back in to relax for a couple days before I have to leave again, but it will be only for about six days and I'm only going to Little Rock, Arkansas. Not downing Little Rock it's pretty cool, but I could do without the rest of the state. Most of the other towns I visited in Arkansas were like inbreeding city, you talk about hick. Then, yo… Continue

Thanks Jeremy. I've been lucky to find good equipment at really good deals. It is nice to have variety especially when you get that frustration at times when you feel you can't progress forward. Picking up a different guitar can sometimes get the positive juices back.
