GETTING GIGS--OPEN DISCUSSION

This is an open discussion about the best way to get gigs for you or your band. Any ideas? I wrote a couple paras and somehow lost them just before posting. Basically, I consider charity benefits, agents, demo packages, union or other bands. What do YOU suggest? Good Luck

Warming Up before Playing -- Try these

Before a practice or as I am driving to a gig I will do some warm up exercises. The best one is to spread your fingers as wide as you can for five seconds and then bring your fingers in to make a loose fist. After a couple more seconds stretch your fingers out again. Repeat about five times to get the blood circulating throughout your fingers, it will seem as if you had been practicing for awhile and you are ready to play.
