There's lots of groups on this site dedicated to male guitarists. How about we spend a little time recognising and celebrating all the great women guitarists out there.
One of the great things about GPU is connecting with other guitarists. Sometimes you just want to chat about something that is 'off top' from the groups and discussions you're in. Why not do it here.
Pump up the purple haze, climb the stairway to heaven, Call out the Iron Man and Ride like the wind. Classic Rock, Soft rock, acid rock, prog and mystic layers of the 60's and 70's
Did you get the Ibanez? A setup is basically Adjusting a guitar to the best potential playing state. Adjusting the truss rod, adjusting the height of your strings at the nut and bridge. Adjusting the springs on a tremelo to the proper tension. Adjusting the height of the pickups to get the best tone. Intonating each string so the notes match, when you play it open and at the 12th fret the note is not sharp or flat. Preserving the wood on the fretboard.and polishing the frets to prevent corrosion. This is a setup!
HI larry
Not to long ago I went to the local swap in shop in kansas city
(just a big garage sale) while their I bought a elezan Guitar
In very Sad shape. with broken silver tuners, rusted strings and battery cover missing on the Dread nut Guitar Electronics.
With a little worke and a couple of gold tuners that I already had. the guitar is now playable, doing some reserch on the internet I belive this is one of the es ta ban guitars that I have seen fore sale on the internet. and surprising enough the guitar plays pertty good , with a good sound. the electronics on this dreadnut guitar even works , I still need to find a battery cover to hold the battery in. but was able to get the electronics to worke by using a Q tip to hold the battery in. I was even able to find a old junk guitar case for $5.00 at the swap and shop. which looks bad but is good enough to protect the guitar.
Last night I went to the WED night Jam at a local church, with good frinds , Mostly playing the OLD country music with some blue grass
See Ya Later

Hi larry
New grandson now about 7 weeks old.
I finialy got around to fixing my Thin Hollow body Epiphone guitar
The head was broken off. and it had a missing bridge,
which I have now glued together replaced the bridge,
now I only need a nut for the toggle switch, which changes which of the 2 pick up,s that I might be using. where the head broke off just on top of the thrus rod adjustment , the wood is also split. which i have painted black to match the guitar
BUT the guitar looks so good , I belive (when i get the time) that I will figer out some way to make this look new. as the rest of the guitar is new and looks great.
keep picking
