Profile Information

What is Your Playing Level?
(Usually 2 feet off the floor ;) - Beginner
What is Your Favorite Style?
"Can we say that here?" ;) - Rock, Pop, Country & Blues

Links to pictures & videos of some my other interests besides learning to play the guitar - Where the hell I find the time to do all this beats me, but somehow I do! :)

Up here in Toronto Canada, I take every advantage of the warmer months after our freezing cold winter and spend most of the time outdoors, whenever possible (health permitting). Two years ago, I discovered kiting online, purely by accident and purchased my 1st. kite, got totally hooked and now I'm a bionafied self confessed kiteoholic. :)
Can you tell from the pictures? ;)
My kite pictures
Flying multiple kites videos
My Revolution quad kite videos
My single line kites videos
My hope is to introduce and inspire others to take up this great sport.
I fly to stay alive!

Last summer one of my friends and I decided to purchase recumbent trikes to get some well needed exercise, and also for me, to haul my bike trailer full of kites to and from wherever I want to fly.
I love riding my trike so much, I decided to fit it out with underbody LED lights so I can safely ride around at night which I do regularly in the warmer months.
I LOVE my trike! (sounds so infantile doesn't t? ;)

My hope is to inspire more people to get out on their bikes and recumbent bike/trikes.

I also paint, mainly in acrylics on canvas or linen. Some of my paintings are posted in my pictures here on my page.
Here are links to some of my pictures and videos of some of my painting progressions:

I also fly RC aircraft, although that is getting less and less these days as kiting has taken away time to fly, as well as other things of more priority, like learning to play the guitar :)
Here is a link to some pictures of my dying hobby of 25 years:

"PEOPLE DO NOT QUIT PLAYING BECAUSE THEY GROW OLD, THEY GROW OLD BECAUSE THEY QUIT PLAYING." OWH

Steve, you can sing, too. Remember you made a video of you singing. I know you stay busy with all your hobbies.

Thanks Steve, I will try to be safe. Since we don't have any trails in town; I am taking to town, park my vehicle, unload my trike and ride in neighborhoods that are not traveled very much. I don't know if you do or not, I have very shoes that has cleats on the bottom to hook onto the pedals. But I have a problem right now hooking my left foot on, the artifical leg; I have to hook my shoe on first without my leg, then put my leg in the shoe. When there is a will, there is a way.
Hey Steve, what can't you do? You paint, play guitar, sing, build big airplanes, fly kites, ride trikes.
That tiger plane is big. You are very talented.

Hey Steve, check out my page. I have photos of my new catrike. I love it. It gets the old heart a pumping. Have you been riding your tornado? I bet you have. I bet when I ride in town, I will get some looks and comments. No one else in town has one, but I am hoping to change that. My Daddy rode it, and he said it was lots of fun. That is something coming from him.

Hey Steve, Yes, I am excited about my new trike. Thank you, Steve for sharing your KMX tornado with me. I didn't know it existed.

Thanks Steve. I haven't picked it up yet. They assembled the trike today, but the carrier hadn't left Utah, yet. It will probably be next week some time before it arrives in Atlanta which is a four hr. drive from here.
I am really excited about it. I really won't be able to ride it until Bubba gets better. He is one of my dogs who is one of my boys. Yesterday, somehow while I was gone, he tore both ligaments in his knee. He has to have surgery to repair it. Bubba is nine, he is a dietabetic, but he is so sweet and laid back and has gave us so much joy. He is also blind in one eye from a cateract. We are doing all we can to make the rest of his life the best it can be. I have been busy looking after him, he can't be left alone.
Anyway, I don't think you lean with the catrike like you do with the KMX's around curves. I am going to have to learn how to change the gears---what gears makes it easy to go up a hill, what gears makes it easy to pedal, and etc.. The gears are changed with my thumbs, hand brakes on both sides. I told them I wanted a bubble gum globe that mail carriers have on their auto so people could see me. They laughed; instead I bought two flashing red lights that go on the back. Later, I might install some lights like yours which I like.
Thanks again, Steve. I will send you a photo of it. Take care.

Hey Steve, I purchased a catrike and a hitch to haul it around. I couldn't find a place where I could try out a KMX Tornado before I bought it. I had to drive about 4 hrs to try the catrike out; it was so much fun. It is an expedition catrike. I can't wait to get it. I have to make another trip to pick it up. I will be the first one in our town to have a trike. I am hoping to start something. One bad thing we don't have any trails here. I will send you a photo of it when I receive it. It is going to be a challenage to sit down and get up in the trike, but I will overcome it. I really wanted the Tornado, but I needed to try it out first before I bought it, but nobody would order it for me to try it. So, I had to do the next best thing. Anyway, I will get excercise with this trike, and you meet the nicest people who ride trikes.

Hey Steve, I am very interested in purchasing kmx tornado kart. The dealers that is listed on the kmx main site for Ga are not correct; I called them, they didn't know what I was talking about. So, I was thinking about ordering one from the main site, but the only problem is I have to assemble it.
Have you ever assembled one? I saw your videos on youtube about the kmx tornado the maintenance and to to install accessories. Your videos and explanations were very informative, and great. Does the seat slide forward and frontward on the tornado? I understand the tornado is an on and off the road kart which I want. I, also understand the tornado exercises your heart, but does it excercise the stomach like the typhoon? Where did you purchase your city tech mirrors on your tornado?
I know I am throwing alot of questions toward you right now, but you are an experienced rider and know all this stuff. Would you help me out? I don't know if I could assemble the tornado where I would be able to ride it or not. The wheels might fall off. I would appreciate it if you would help me. Thank you Steve.
